Location

Perth Racecourse is situated close to road, rail and bus links so reaching us has never been easier. We are less than one mile past Scone Palace's main entrance in Old Scone, Perth.

Vehicular access to the course has been improved in recent years with special traffic management arrangements in place on race days to ensure easy arrival and departure.

Car

Follow directions for Perth. Once you arrive in Perth, follow signs for the A93 (Blairgowrie), which is junction 11 off the M90. We are located one mile past Scone Palace just off the A93. For local driving directions using google maps, please click here.

Train

Perth Train Station is located around 4 miles from Perth Races, with links to all the main cities in the UK.

Taxi

Taxis are available at Perth Train Station and can drop you off at the racecourse. For a list of local taxi firms, please click here. Advance booking is advised on racedays. We also have a free taxi phone located in The Nelson Stand for your return journeys.

Buses

On racedays, bus services will be provided from Perth town centre direct to the Racecourse. Pickup will be from Mill Street bus stop (outside the cinema) and they will leave 70, 60, and 50 minutes before the start of the first race.

Return buses will also leave the racecourse 10 minutes after the last race. Extra buses will be provided on Gold Cup Day.
Prices: £2 single & £3 return

Daytime Racedays: 1pm/1.10pm/1.20pm pickup from Mill Street in Perth
Evening Racedays: 5pm/5.10pm/5.20pm pickup from Mill Street in Perth
Gold Cup Day: Buses start to pick up from 11.30am onwards

Helicopter

We have landing facilities in the centre of the course. Please get in touch with our office for more information or to check availability.

By Air

Edinburgh Airport is only 40 miles away by motorway and has regular connections to many parts of the UK, Europe and Ireland. Road connections can take you to the course in around an hour.

Dundee airport, 20 miles to the east of Perth, has a regular service to London, Birmingham and other destinations and is now providing a valuable link for racegoers. Taxi and car hire facilities are also available.

Private Aircraft

Private landing facilities are available by arrangement at Scone Aerodrome which is only 2 miles from the course.
