TOP IRISH JOCKEYS HEAD FOR
PERTH RACES on SAT 16th AUGUST
It could be an Irish bonanza at Perth Races tomorrow with
a number of Irish horses travelling over to try and claim
some of the £50,000 prize money on offer. The highlight
for the big crowds expected could well be the riding of
two of the most accomplished and stylish riders of the
present decade, Barry Geraghty - the present Irish Champion
Jockey and Ruby Walsh a past champion and Grand National
winning jockey, both in action throughout the afternoon.
Along
with some exciting racing there will be entertainment
for all the family starting soon after the gates open
at 11am. This will include a chance to bet on some amusing
Ferret Racing, exciting Falconry Displays and an exhibition
of Horse Vaulting. There will be a range of Bouncy Castles
and Quad Bikes for the younger generation in what promises
to a wonderful afternoon's entertainment. The Corporate
Hospitality facilities have been fully booked for a while
and there are a significant number of Hen and Stag parties
coming from the length and breadth of the U.K. to start
their celebrations and have a party at the races.
Entry
on the day; Club Enclosure £15. Paddock £10.
Course £5. Cars into the Picnic area £12 (max
