Tom George saddled ten winners at Scone Palace Park in 2004 and the Gloucestershire trainer celebrated three victories, Nowator (4/1), Travel (7/2 fav) and Stack The Pack (11/4), at Perth's two-day fixture on 11 & 12 May.

David Dennis-ridden Nowator lifted the £10,000 Famous Grouse Handicap Chase in the colours of Mrs Sharon Nelson and Mrs Nelson's Travel won the Grant Thornton Intermediate Handicap Hurdle under Robert Thornton, winning by half a length and a neck respectively in exciting finishes and Stack The Pack, jointly-owned by Mrs Nelson, won the £10,000 Allied Irish Bank (GB) Handicap Chase under Thornton to seal George's three-timer.

"We love sending horses to Perth as the prize money for summer jumping is fantastic and we are always well looked after. The hospitality is really first-class," said a delighted Tom George.

Ulster trainer Jimmy Lambe's Poor Tactic's, backed from 9/1 to 5/1, left bookmakers reeling in winning the Steadfast Scotland Handicap Hurdle in the colours of Manchester City FC honorary president Raymond Donn.

Mike Futter, who masterminded the £1m gamble on 2003 Grand National winner Monty's Pass, said "We've landed a right touch and we'll be collecting £100,000."

Staffordshire trainer Jenny Candlish saddled her first Scone winner, Downing Street (10/1) and Ian Semple's mare Millagros ( 2/1) gained her sixth success, flat and jumping, for Strathaven owner James Cringan.


Thoutmosis

Len Lungo's Thoutmosis (3/1 fav) and Gary Berridge won the Scottish Field Handicap Hurdle and Peter Monteith's Moscow Dancer stunned punters in winning the Cornelian Asset Managers Intermediate Chase under Neil Mulholland at odds of 20/1.

Susan Bradburne's Bodfari Signet (4/1 fav), ridden by her 28-year-old son Mark, was placed first in the Bill and Bunny Cadogan Memorial Handicap Hurdle following the disqualification of first-past-the-post Supply and Fix.

Nicky Richards is enjoying a great start to the season and Native Coral (6/4 fav) won the Carlsberg Novices' Chase and Etched in Stone (5/4 fav) lifted the Herald & Post-sponsored bumper to seal a brace for the Greystoke stable.
