Perth
Racecourse has once again won the “Best Small Racecourse” Award
for racecourses in Scotland and the North East of
England. This continues a great run of form by Perth
in winning
this award, judged by the Racegoers Club, collecting
this prize four times in the last 6 years. The Racegoers
Club commented “Competition for the 2005 awards
has been strong due to the vast number of improvements
made at many racecourses in the past year, and it
is a superb achievement by all of the courses voted
winners in various categories”
Sam
Morshead, the General Manager said today “The
whole team at Perth are delighted that their hard work
over the last twelve months has been rewarded with
this prestigious award. To be singled out again, by one
of our
main customer groups, is of great value to us as we
move into another exciting and challenging season ahead.
The
Perth Festival in April will soon be with us and we
look forward to providing the very best entertainment,
with
excellent facilities and helpful staff, to ensure that
all our customers continue to enjoy their visits to
Perth races”.
