We
are fortunate that in addition to being supported bythe
ever increasing body of Scottish trainers we also enjoy
seeing raiders from the South of England and indeed Ireland
on a regular basis. This serves to produce racing full
of excitement and competitive spirit, a situation not
entirely confined to the racetrack.
The
unique atmosphere at Perth is like no other in the Country.
It’s intimacy, ensures that everyone is
close to the action and able to rub shoulder with the
superstars of the jumping game.
A
day at Perth is as much a social occasion as anything
else, and whether
you want to arrive dressed to impress or in a pair
of denims, drink champagne or beer, our friendly staff
will do their best to give you the time of your life.
Perth
has excellent transport communications, being only
three miles from the national motorway network, 40 minutes
from Edinburgh Airport and has it’s own main
line railway station. There is a regular bus service
from central Perth (Mill Street) to the Racecourse
on race days.
Helicopter
landing facilities are available on the course and private
aircraft may land
at nearby Scone Airfield, by prior arrangement.
