Buying tickets

We strongly recommend purchasing all raceday tickets in advance. This can be done online, or over the phone. Please note, if you require an Essential Companion ticket, please contact the Racecourse Office by phone on 01738 551 597. See Essential Companion section below for more information.

All differently abled racegoers qualify for a Concession Ticket in the Grandstand Enclosure. The Picnic Enclosure, is a single ticket Enclosure and therefore only one ticket type.

Buying tickets in person on a raceday

Tickets for racing can be bought at Gate B on the raceday. This gate is open until the third race and is accessible for wheelchair and mobility scooter users.

Our customer care team are on hand to provide assistance when necessary and required. At the ticketing counter there is a portable induction loop. This facility can be used by switching a hearing aid to the ‘T’ switch.

·        Signed letter from GP (with accompanying photo ID)

Essential companions will receive free admission to the racecourse on raceday when accompanying a paying guest with accessibility needs. If a second essential companion is required, please contact the Racecourse to discuss how we may be able to help you.

Accessible parking

On arrival to Perth Racecourse, if you are a Blue Badge holder or require accessible parking, please advise the parking stewards and they will assist you. Please note, the accessible parking is located close to the Grandstand Enclosure entrance and is on grass. It is a short walk from the car park to the Grandstand Enclosure gates, with a very slight up-hill on gravel. If you require assistance, please do let one of our customer care team know, and we can help where possible.

Accessible shuttle bus service

The shuttle bus service we offer to and from the Racecourse does include wheelchair accessible transport. Please advise our bus operator on the raceday at the stop to ensure we can accommodate you swiftly on the next available bus.

On course

We have endeavoured where possible to provide access for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs around the Grandstand Enclosure. The majority of the Grandstand Enclosure is on tarmac, with trackside being on grass.

The Picnic Enclosure is exclusively grass.

The Galileo Restaurant, Cafe 1613 and all bars have full wheelchair access, and lifts where necessary. We have a number of raised wheelchair platforms trackside and by Parade Ring for viewing.

Toilets

Within the Grandstand Enclosure, there are 3 accessible toilet facilities. One located by the The Barn, and another located in the Betting Hall. These are not key controlled.

The third accessible toilet is located by the Press Room. This is key controlled. The key can be obtained from the Racecourse office just a few doors down by the Parade Ring.

Within the Picnic Enclosure which is open on Ladies Day and weekend fixtures only, there is an accessible toilet beside the main public toilet block.

Guide Dogs

Guide Dogs are always welcome, and we are happy to provide a bowl of water for your hard-working companion throughout the day.

Betting

Within the Betting Hall there are two accessible level betting kiosks with the Tote and William Hill.

Hospitality boxes & restaurants

All hospitality packages can accommodate those with additional requirements. However, unfortunately, the Upper Dewhurst Boxes and 1908 are not accessible to wheelchair or mobility scooter users.

It is advisable to speak with the Sales Manager so that they may advise on any specific limitations or available adaptations.
