Race Meeting

With summer now in full swing, get ready for a great day of racing in the first fixture of the Mackie's of Scotland Summer Series!

Come along and enjoy a fine afternoon of jump racing in the height of the Scottish summer.

When the action starts to heat up, you can cool off by heading over to one of the Mackie’s Ice Cream huts in between races. If you get thirsty, the Champagne Bar will be open so you can enjoy a glass of bubbly to quench your thirst while you watch your horse race to victory!

Get yourself down to the Parade Ring to check form before you place your bets.  Once you are satisfied with your selections, head over to the Tote in the Grandstand or to the betting ring!

Back your favourite jockeys and trainers to victory in seven great races on a summer’s afternoon in the Mackie’s of Scotland Summer Series!

It’s sure to be a great afternoon of jump racing in Perth. Famous faces such as champion jockey Richard Johnson and the 2017 Cheltenham Festival champion trainer, Gordon Elliott, have been on parade in recent years so be sure to bring your autograph book and cameras along for an unforgettable day!

WEAR: Smart casual – get that top button of your shirt undone and enjoy the sun!

EAT: Head over to the Mackie’s Ice Cream huts for some delicious ice cream to cool down.

SEE: Some famous faces! Take your autograph book and cameras as you may meet your favourite jockeys and trainers!

DO: Head to the parade to check form before you have a flutter – choose your bets wisely!

EXTRAS: If you want to get out of the sun for a bit, head into the Lower Nelson Bar and grab a delicious Highland burger and a cold pint of Guinness before the next race.
